Battery Charger  
You can use your Radio Shack Bat-  
tery Charger to charge your Radio  
Shack CB walkie-talkie if it uses 10  
AA rechargeable nickel-cadmium  
batteries or to charge your Radio  
Shack remote-controlled car if it uses  
8 AA rechargeable nickel-cadmium  
batteries.  
3. Plug the battery charger into a  
standard AC outlet.  
CHARGING  
Never try to recharge non-  
Warning:  
rechargeable batteries. If you do,  
they become very hot and could ex-  
plode.  
Follow these steps to charge nickel-  
cadmium batteries in your walkie-  
talkie or remote-controlled car.  
4. Charge the batteries for 14-18  
hours.  
1. If the walkie-talkie or the remote-  
controlled car is on, turn it off.  
Do not overcharge nickel-  
cadmium batteries.  
Caution:  
2. Connect the battery charger’s  
barrel plug to your walkie-talkie’s  
or your car’s charging jack.
